Abstract
Hypo-oestrogenic and anabolic/androgenic side-effects of danazol are w ell known by the gynaecologist and some of them are present in >50% of patients being treated for endometriosis. Additionally, danazol produ ces hepatocellular damage in similar to 10% of women. The present repo rt describes the first case of acute pancreatitis associated with dana zol treatment of endometriosis.
