J. Jovanovickurepa et al., PULSED PHOTOACOUSTIC DETECTION TECHNIQUE APPLIED TO THE STUDY OF MULTIPHOTON ABSORPTION IN MOLECULES, Measurement science & technology, 5(7), 1994, pp. 847-852
A pulsed laser photoacoustic technique is described. It is optimized f
or the simultaneous investigations of multiphoton absorption processes
as well as rotational relaxation and vibration relaxation studies. Th
e experimental procedure is presented, concerning the calibration of t
he photoacoustic detector/cell set-up, applying the transmission spect
roscopy technique. The obtained relationships, which can be alternativ
ely used for the sensitivity curve S(p, gamma, T) of the apparatus, ar
e analysed. A previously proposed model is confirmed.
