Abstract
The methyleneketene radical anion is formed from Me3SiCOCH=CH2. Deprot onation of this neutral by NH2-yields Me3SiCOCBAR=CH2 Which then decom poses by loss of Me3Si. to yield CH2=C=C=O-.. The identity of the prod uct radical anion is determined by its charge-reversal (positive ion) mass spectrum.
