Abstract
Solubility of pentaerythritol in water has been determined using liter ature data, the polythermal method and the dry residue method. Densiti es of its aqueous solutions have been measured using a pycnometer. Kin etics of crystallization of the pentaerythritol has been determined in laboratory experiments. In this paper, metastable zone width measurem ents have been employed for the assessment of the primary nucleation r ate.
