Seychellana expansa new genus, new species, is diagnosed and described
from shallow water off the Seychelles Islands, western Indian Ocean.
The genus is characterized by the possession of a slender, blade-like
frontal lamina, a somewhat reduced pereopod 7, a strongly bipartite ep
imeron on pleonite 2, a broadly expanded epimeron on pleonite 3, and a
ventrally inserted uropod.
