Abstract
The beta-stability line is deduced from mean-field theory and Hartree- Fock approximation. The spherical surface distribution of protons in s table nuclei or stable nuclear matter is assumed to fit the empirical nonsymmetric coefficient. The theoretical relative error is smaller th an 3%. Some conclusions are drawn from the discussion.
