Abstract
This transverse shift DELTAx approximately +/-sigma was observed exper imentally when half of a lens (y>0) was illuminated by a circularly po larized plane wave (e(x) + isigmae(y))exp(ikz). The observation was ca rried out in z-polarized scattered light.
