Abstract
Computer simulation is used to study Andreev reflection in nanoscale n ormal-metal-superconductor devices. Back-focusing of hole waves throug h quantum point contacts is demonstrated. The electron-hole conversion efficiency is shown to depend on the diffraction of the electron wave at the quantum point contact.
