Abstract
The technique of mechanic synthesis was applied to the elaboration of an alloy from a pre-mixed powder (Al-4.4 Cu-0.5 Mg-0.4 Si). Mechanical ly treated powders have a finer, more homogeneous structure than the o ne of classical powder metallurgy. The addition elements are uniformly distributed inside the aluminium matrix. The materials obtained from these powders were characterized using various techniques.
