Abstract
Correlation between mechanical behaviour (creep, impact toughness) and the microstructures which appear during isothermal heat treatment on Zn-Al and Zn-Al-Cu alloys. Showing the practical interest of the struc tural modifications obtained. Better results for samples aged for abou t a week. The most favourable treatment temperature is 250-degrees-C. Alloys containing copper have a better behaviour than binary Zn-Al all oys.
