Abstract
The measurements of mass fluxes in binary distillation of the nitrogen -oxygen and argon-oxygen systems in a wetted-wall column were made und er total reflux conditions for a wide range of turbulent flows. The ob served diffusion fluxes of each components in binary distillation were found to be proportional to their concentration driving forces, where as the observed mass fluxes were not. A new correlation for vapor phas e diffusion fluxes in the nitrogen-oxygen and argon-oxygen systems was proposed.
