Abstract
Diabetes mellitus is a common feline endocrinopathy. Various factors i nfluence its incidence. Hyperosmolar nonketotic diabetes mellitus, how ever, is an uncommon complication in the cat. Precipitating conditions or severe diseases are associated with this form of diabetes. This pa per is a review of hyperosmolar nonketotic diabetes mellitus in the ca t and the successful treatment of one cat.
