Behavioral problems are acknowledged as being a leading source of ques
tions to practitioners by animal owners and, based on the author's exp
erience, approximately 20% of these questions concern feline behavior.
Among a number of other specific behavioral problems, aggression, unu
sual predatory behavior, and grief behavior are discussed, as is inter
vention through both pharmacological and behavioral means. The latter
include active play, restraint, and re-homing.
