Abstract
A simple ultraviolet light source driven by microwave discharge has be en developed to produce U.V. radiations below 200 nm. The emitted V.U. V. radiations were sufficiently intense to give rise to the photooxida tion of CARBETAMIDE(R) in water solution. The suitable conditions to p hotooxidation have been determined and a mechanism is proposed.
