Abstract
High-quality pulse compression is reported of a continuous wave Nd:YAG laser with additive pulse modelocking. Pulses with a duration of 310 fs and a peak power of 3.7 kW were obtained. A time-bandwidth product of 0.36 was achieved by spectral windowing techniques.
