Abstract
Recent experimental and theoretical work on parity violation in compou nd nucleus reactions is reviewed. Difficulties in understanding the si gn asymmetry observed in heavy nuclei is emphasized. Future prospects relating to tests of parity and time reversal symmetry are briefly dis cussed.
