Abstract
Three new chiral porphyrins bearing chloro and glucosyl groups are obt ained by Lindsey's method; their chloro manganese(III) complexes are r obust catalysts for the asymmetric epoxidation of 4-chlorostyrene with diluted hydrogen peroxide.
