Abstract
Hitting at 17.9, 20.1, and 22.3 m.sec.-1 ball speeds by 12 college sof tball players was not significantly different for optic yellow and whi te softballs; however, at 22.3 m.sec.-1, players hit 7.8% fewer yellow balls.
