Abstract
An AOAC collaborative study of a new direct method for available P2O5 in fertilizer was conducted in 1992. Results on a monoammonium phospha te sample showed more variability than other sample types and also sho wed the largest absolute difference among the 3 methods compared in th e study. Additional study pointed to problems with AOAC method 963.03 for citrate-insoluble P2O5, and, subsequently, the method has been rev ised.
