Abstract
Monosubstituted dithiocarbamate complexes of light lanthanides of the type [(RNHCSS)(4)Ln]N (Bu-n)(4) . nH(2)O (where R = Ph, p-MePh; Ln = L a-Gd, excluding Pm; n = 0 or 2) have been synthesized and characterize d by chemical analysis, IR spectra, UV spectra, conductivity measureme nts and TG-DTA techniques. Spectral studies show that the dithiocarbam ate group behaves as a bidentate ligand.
