From a study on the electrochemical properties (redox reactions of an
organic catalyst) and electrocatalytic properties (the effect of an or
ganic catalyst on the electroreduction of O2 and H2O2) of cobalt tetra
(n-methoxyphenyl)porphyrin dispersed on acetylene black, it is inferre
d that the interaction between the catalyst and the substrate strongly
affects electrocatalysis.
