Behavior of uranyl molybdate in molten Na2MoO4-Na2Mo2O7 salt mixture a
t 1073 K in air was studied using cyclic linear volmmetry and potentio
metric titration techniques. Uranyl complexes of two types ([UO2(MoO4)
2]2- and UO3MoO42-) were shown to be formed in the solution upon the a
ddition of UO2MoO4. The composition of a cathodic product was found to
be determined by the molar ratio of these two complexes in the melt.
