Abstract
This paper describes the evolution. of a Mock Oral Board Examination P rogram for surgical residents in a university-affiliated community set ting. The Mock Oral Board Examination Program has familiarized residen ts with the process of the Certifying Examination, assisted program di rectors in improving their training programs and creating a scholarly environment, and improved our community exchange of information throug h this collaborative effort.
