Abstract
Eight new variable stars and suspected variables have been found in th e field of M 22. Finding charts for the new variables and for the Mira stars IV Sgr and V4069 Sgr (V33) are presented. Improved equatorial c oordinates are also presented for known variables in the field; for va riables in the inner part of the cluster the equatorial coordinates ar e published for the first time.
