SYNTHESIS AND STRUCTURAL STUDY OF COMPLEX ALKALI-METAL ZIRCONIUM-PHOSPHATES .2. POTASSIUM ZIRCONIUM AND RUBIDIUM ZIRCONIUM-PHOSPHATES

Complex zirconium orthophosphates of general formula M(x)Zr(2.25-0.25x )(PO4)(3) with various ratios of potassium and zirconium and rubidium and zirconium were prepared. Concentration and temperature ranges of t he NZP structure for both groups of phosphates were determined using p hysicochemical analytical methods (X-ray diffraction analysis, IR spec troscopy, and differential thermal analysis). The influence of prepara tion methods on crystallographic parameters of phosphates with the com position MZr(2)(PO4)(3) (x = 1) was studied. Thermal stability of the compounds was studied as a function of the parameter x.
