Chemical and electrochemical behavior of molten mixtures (1 - n) Na2WO
4 + n UO2WO4 (n less-than-or-equal-to 0.5) at 993 - 1173 K was studied
by using linear voltammetry and potentiometric titration. The chemica
l and phase composition of the cathodic products of electrolysis was i
nvestigated. It was concluded that the obtained results could be expla
ined when based on the views of the complex formation and step solvoly
sis of uranyl ions in a melt.
