Abstract
The dense-granule organelles of Toxoplasma gondii are secretory vesicl es that play a major role in the structural modifications of the paras itophorous vacuole. In this article, Marie-France Cesbron-Delauw revie ws work on a prominent set of molecules recently characterized as comp onents of the dense granules, and discusses various aspects on their p ost-translational trafficking and delivery within the host cell.
