Abstract
It is usually assumed that the development of infants who are deaf-bli nd follows an observable ''normal'' sequence, although progress may be slow and uneven. However, the means by which these infants learn new skills and concepts is not well understood. This article uses a case s tudy of one such infant to address these issues and the factors that a ffected the method used to study them.
