EXCESS VOLUMES OF 1,2,4-TRICHLOROBENZENE PLUS METHYL ETHYL KETONE PLUS 1-ALKANOLS AT 303.15-K

Excess volumes for 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene + methyl ethyl ketone + 1-pr opanol, + 1-butanol, + 1-pentanol, and + 1-hexanol were measured at 30 3.15 K. Excess volumes are negative over the entire range of compositi on in the four mixtures. The results were compared with those Predicte d by empirical equations proposed by Hwang et al. and Redlich-Kister.
