Abstract
We report results from high temperature tensile and creep tests perfor med on Inconel 600, 304 stainless steel and SA106B carbon steel, mater ials used to construct components which penetrate the lower heads of r eactor vessels. Testing temperatures for the Inconel and stainless and carbon steels exceeded 1360 K, 1350 K and 1040 K, respectively. These data are applicable, but not limited, to severe accident analysis.
