Abstract
Dementing illnesses are thought to account for older 50% of all mental health problems among the elderly. The diagnoses and treatments Of de menting illnesses are complex, and occupational therapists frequently are called upon to contribute to the multidisciplinary assessment of c ognitive impairment. The Kingston Geriatric Cognitive Battery is a too l developed to assist therapists in evaluating demented patients.
