Abstract
Previous work by Tuszynski et at [Nucl Instr. and Meth. B 107 (1996) 1 60] has shown that the photon yield from the impact of Cf-252 fission fragments on several organic samples was affected by the potential app lied to the sample, An investigation of this effect in our laboratory demonstrates that a significant component of this enhancement is from cathodoluminescence.
