B. Kosikova et A. Ebringerova, BEHAVIOR OF THE LIGNIN POLYSACCHARIDE COMPLEX OF PINE WOOD IN SODA-OXYGEN PULPING, Appita journal, 47(4), 1994, pp. 327-329
The behaviour of the lignin-polysaccharide complex of pine wood n soda
-oxygen pulping and in bleaching was studied by the characterization o
f lignin-saccharide fractions isolated from a series of soda and soda-
oxygen pulps. Dioxane soda and soda-oxygen pulp lignins contained 2-12
% carbohydrates in which glucose was the predominant component. Its co
ntent increased with cooking time indicating the formation of secondar
y lignin-cellulose linkage formation.
