Abstract
In recent years there is a trend towards natural ingredients in cosmet ics, e,g. propolis. We report two cases of patients with allergic cont act dermatitis to propolis, Cera flava and Unguentum leniens. These co ntact allergies are probably the result of residues of propolis in Cer a flava. Unguentum leniens as a Cera-flava-containing agent must be co nsidered a possible contact allergen in patients with propolis allergy .
