S. Cossu et al., NUCLEOPHILIC-ADDITION OF HIGHLY HINDERED AMINES TO ELECTRON-DEFICIENTACETYLENES, Synthetic communications, 26(24), 1996, pp. 4597-4601
Even the most highly hindered amines such as diisopropylamine, isoprop
yl-t-butylamine, 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine, 4-oxo-2,2,6,6-tetramet
hyl piperidine and hexamethyldisilazane react with electron-deficient
alkynes to give the Michael addition products.
