Abstract
After Argon Laser Trabeculoplasty (ALT), non steroidal anti-inflammato ry drugs (Indomethacin 1% suspension and Flurbiprofen 0.03% solution) were shown to be efficient in the management of post laser inflammatio n. To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Indomethacin 0.1% solution v ersus Flurbiprofen 0.03% eyedrops in that purpose, 64 patients sufferi ng from glaucoma were recruited in a multicenter randomized double mas ked study. The results demonstrate that Indomethacin 0.1% eyedrops is as efficient as Flurbiprofen 0.03% in terms of control of post ALT inf lammation, with a good tolerance.
