Abstract
A piezoelectric quartz crystal (PBC) was used to study hemorheological phenomena. On the basis of equivalent circuit parameters, the frequen cy response corresponding to the blood clotting was discussed. The res ults show that the response of PBC was dominated by viscosity change a t the initial stage, and then by mass effect and surface stress. With PQC monitoring the change of coagulated plasma viscosity, the urokinas e activated fibrinolysis was investigated.
