Abstract
An overview of information was obtained by the authors on investigatio n of the membrane proteins and of the soluble proteins in langmuir - B lodgett films. Monolayers of the membrane proteins of the reaction cen ter proteins (RC), isolated from photosynthetic bacteria Chloroflexus aurantiacus (J10-fl), Rhodobacter sphaeroides (wild type and R-26) and Rhodopseudomonas viridis and of bacteriorodopsin (BR), isolated from Halobacterium halobium were analyzed to determine the optimal conditio ns for stable film preparations with native properties preserved. Mono layers of the soluble proteins of the glucose oxidase and urease al th e interface were prepared and investigated. The optimum conditions of protein film formation on solid supports were found.
