Abstract
Continuing a joint PTB/NPL/GSF programme the experimental determinatio n of the responses of four Bonner sphere sets has been extended into t he thermal neutron region. The results are presented and compared with calculated responses where available. The results highlight the impor tance of experimentally validating Bonner sphere response function cal culations wherever ever possible.
