Hy. Chen et al., DETERMINATION OF ARSENIC IN STEEL BY CONTINUOUS-FLOW HYDRIDE GENERATION ICP-AES USING A LOW-POWER SYSTEM, Atomic spectroscopy, 18(1), 1997, pp. 29-33
A concentric hydride generator combined with an ICP-AES system running
0.65 kW power was used for continuous determination of arsenic in ste
els. The detection limit obtained with this method was 0.6 ng/mL for a
rsenic and the relative standard deviation 1.19%. L-cysteine was used
to eliminate the interfer-ences from transition element ions in the lo
w-acidity medium. The accuracies, verified suing standard iron referen
ce materials obtained from the National Research Council (NRC), Canada
, were found to be within the certified values.
