Abstract
We present a case of duodenal gallstone ileus (Bouveret's syndrome) th at evolved with its classical symptomatology and was succesfully manag ed by endoscopic extraction Of the stone, an extremely unusual circuns tance. Although difficult and laborious, endoscopic therapy in the Bou veret's syndrome, by using the Dormia basket, may prove useful.
