Abstract
Bremsstrahlung emission during alpha-decay of the Ra-226 and Po-214 nu clei was observed for the first time, The photon energy spectrum was a nalysed in the framework of a classical electrodynamic model in order to investigate the dynamics of the alpha-decay. The theoretical model predictions are compared with the experimental data of other authors o btained by also observing the bremsstrahlung emission in the low energ y nucleus-nucleus scattering.
