Abstract
In this work we have isolated and characterized fourtheen diterpenes f rom the algae Glossophora kunthii. The compounds carrying perhydroazul enes as a basic skeleton, showed epimeric form at C-9 in relation to d ictyol-B. This is the first report on the content of xenicanes, crenul ides and dolabellanes compounds in the algae Glossophora kunthii.
