Abstract
The theory of surface spin waves in a pure exchange ferromagnet in a w eak nonlinear approximation has been considered. The nonlinear dispers ion equation for these waves is derived. The nonlinear Schrodinger equ ation is derived for the envelope amplitude of magnetization in the wa ve. Conditions for the existence of a solitonic solution are discussed .
