Abstract
An adaptive control procedure using state feed-back is applied to a ge nerator in a multimachine power system for the purpose of placing in a desired manner the eigenvalues of the linearized model of the control led synchronous generator. The simulation results of the study show th at the adaptive regulator performs satisfactorily in a multimachine en vironment, when operating in conjunction with the conventional regulat ors of the other system generators.
