Abstract
A 2-year-old girl sustained full-thickness burns to the anterior chest . Skin grafting was performed after spontaneous eschar separation in 1 breast and after delayed tangential excision after wound demarcation in the other breast. Both breasts developed equally, indicating that c areful tangential excision to viable tissue after wound demarcation in this vital area could be performed safely.
