Abstract
The nucleophilic substitution reactions of hindered 2,2-diethylbutyl m ethanesulfonate with potassium aryloxides were carried out in dimethyl sulfoxide at higher temperatures. New unrearranged hindered ethers we re readily obtained in excellent yields as the desired products.
