Abstract
A review is given of the available data on collision strengths and eff ective, or Maxwellian-averaged, collision strengths for neutral boron and all boron-like ions up to and including boron-like nickel. When su fficient collision strength data are available for the determination o f two or more sets of effective collision strengths gamma for the same ion by different authors, comparison graphs of gamma versus the logar ithm of the electron temperature T(K) are given.
