Abstract
The authors have successfully demonstrated 10Gbit/s four-channel dense ly spaced WDM transmission over 500km of dispersion-shifted optical fi bre with a technique for suppressing FWM crosstalk. This result shows the feasbility of future WDM transmission systems.
