Abstract
Reaction the title stable selenoaldehyde with di-t-butyldiazomethane a nd 2-diazo-1,1,3,3-tetramethylindan at -50 degrees C in the presence o f a catalytic amount of CuCl resulted in the formation of the correspo nding seleniranes.
